ROAD’S Foods approached Nexora Creation to transform its existing online presence into a modern, premium eCommerce experience for authentic Nigerian food in the UK. We designed and developed a conversion-focused WordPress/WooCommerce website bringing together ROAD’S Cuisine, Native Chef and AI Kitchen into one connected customer journey.
The project required more than a visual website redesign. ROAD’S Foods needed a clear way to present multiple food offerings while making ordering simple across ready-made meals, cook-at-home products and future AI-powered experiences. The website also needed to support complex WooCommerce functionality, chilled and frozen product options, delivery pricing, Click & Collect, shipping integration and an AI Kitchen assistant.
We took a customer-first approach, combining UX/UI design, WordPress development, WooCommerce, custom functionality and AI integration.
The website structure was designed around the way customers actually shop, with Eat Now focused on ready-made meals, Cook at Home supporting Native Chef products, and AI Kitchen providing food guidance and discovery.
On the eCommerce side, we implemented custom product-option and shipping logic to handle chilled and frozen products, packaging requirements, Click & Collect and weight-based delivery. We also integrated the AI Kitchen with WooCommerce product data so recommendations can be grounded in the live catalogue rather than relying purely on static AI knowledge.
Throughout development, we continuously tested the customer journey, refined the interface based on feedback and built the platform with future improvements in mind.
